Text: 1Thessalonians 4 v 16 – 17

I am not here to prove to anybody that there is something coming called the Rapture. People say the word rapture is not in the bible, well neither is the word trinity, millennium, phrase second coming, but in English we use words to describe the event or what will appear at the event.

So, RAPTURE comes out of the Latin word “CAUGHT UP”

There is coming a time when Christ will return and those who are overcoming saints who faithfully followed him will be caught up to meet him, changed in a twinkling of an eye

1Thessalonians 4 v 16 – 17 (PUT THIS UP AGAIN)

1 Corinthians 15 v 51 – 52
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

NOAH & THE FLOOD – HE PREACHED FOR 120 YEARS AND NO BODY BESIDE HIS FAMILY LISTENED.

Maybe you have been disappointed about Christianity and given up on the Lord, I want you to listen to me carefully because I am going to explain to you from the bible what you can expect if you miss the return of the Lord. This is a very important message.

We find in Revelation chapter 1, Jesus is the high priest
Chapter 2 & 3 he alludes to the message of the 7 churches

Revelation 4 v 1 – 2
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

John hears a voice like a trumpet saying come up here & immediately he’s caught up in the spirit from the earth into heaven.

John then begins to describe events that’s going to take place.
Immediately after the rapture…

1. PEACE WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE EARTH.

Revelation 6 v 4
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Now the question arises suddenly why is PEACE taken from the earth.

The reason would be in my opinion is the rapture has taken all these people off the planet, they have the codes to bank accounts, computer systems, and suddenly everything on the earth is in total chaos.

 Truck drivers are missing to deliver goods.
 Shipping leaders are missing to deliver freight.
 So suddenly there is this massive shortage of all supplies
globally.

In the book of Revelation, it talks about the 4 sins that will take place at the time of the end.

Revelation 9 v 21
Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

1. Idolatry
2. fornication
3. Stealing
4. Murder

And two of them is very interesting, that is Stealing & murder

During the tribulation period, the food shortages that are predicted are going to cause people to steal from people and kill other people in order to get food that anyone has.

So, think about peace taken out the earth. Can’t go into the city, can’t go into town, somebody is going to rob you, attack you because there is shortages of food and water.

So, this is point 1 if you miss the rapture.

2. CHILDREN OF UNGODLY PARENTS WILL BE MISSING

Matthew 18 v 10
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

2 Samuel 12 v 23
21 Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
22 And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

1 Corinthians 7 v 14
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

Imagine if you as a parent is left behind – you never going to hug or see your children & grand kids again. To be with your family during the rapture is priceless.

Serve the Lord if nothing else because you going to keep your family for eternity.

3. THERE WILL BE VERY FEW CARING PEOPLE – SURVIVAL MODE

There are people today who worry about having food, clean water, electricity, etc.

Think about not been able to call your Pastor, prayer warrior, friend in church, praise & worship & not been able to find a church to attend.
So, if you miss the rapture, all those wonderful people that you are serving the lord with now, will be just a painful memory. You will be in complete survival mode. Everything will be about how in the world am I going to survive.

You think there is shortages now, you have seen nothing yet. According to Revelation a loaf of bread is going to cost a whole day’s wages.

(Revelation 6 v 6). And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

This is why it’s called the great tribulation. It’s called a day of trouble such as there has never been in the history on this planet.

(Matthew 24 v 21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

(2 Thessalonians 2 v 5 – 7)
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Think about the holocaust of the Jewish people.
Think about the war in Ukraine. It’s worse than that.

The bible says that the wicked one will be revealed when the restrainer is taken away.

The restrainer can be the church, holy spirit,

Loneliness is a killer and think about what it will be like if you miss the rapture.

4. CANNOT BUY OR SELL WITHOUT THE MARK OF THE BEAST

Revelation 13 v 16 – 17
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

If you take the mark or the number of the beast, it is the mark of doom. You will NEVER enter the kingdom, when Christ returns to the earth, the wheat and the tares are going to be separated.

Revelation 20 v 4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Those who have the mark or number of the anti-Christ will be part of the tares with no more salvation offered to them and you will be cast into hell. I did not write the bible so don’t fuss/kill the messenger, pay attention to the message.

This universal mark of the beast of buying & selling is also linked to religion.

This is really going to happen & and for the record I’m not making up anything, its recorded in the bible.

When Jesus comes back to earth to rule & reign, the angel will bind satan, he will take the anti-Christ & cast into the lake of fire, take the false prophet and all men who have the mark will be not be permitted to rule or reign for 1000 years.

You will be forced to take the mark and if you do, you can kiss it goodbye. You can kiss your future goodbye.

Young people need to hear this message loud and clear. Yea I can be cool and do my thing & party and when the time is right, I’ll change & get saved.

You know the bible says in

Matthew 24 v 40 – 44
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Jesus is not going to let you know when he is coming, the biggest misconception is that people believe if there is going to be shout or the sound of a trumpet, I am going to have time to repent & get right with God and barely make it into heaven by the skin of my teeth.

No, you won’t. unless your ear is in tune in the spirit realm to God himself, unless you born again with covenant with Christ, you will never hear the trumpet. It will sound like thunder.

Remember the voice of God sounded like thunder to some people.

(John 12 v 27 – 29)
27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

The coming of Christ and the Rapture is a surprise thing. This surprise thing is to keep men and women focused on him ALL the time.

5. REMNANT COMES THROUGH THE TRIBULATION WITHOUT THE MARK OF THE BEAST

A small group of people will go through the tribulation without the mark of the beast and survive it. How this is going to happen I really don’t know. Tiny number of people.

You cannot risk being one of those, well maybe I’ll make it all the way to the end

Here’s what will happen to a lot of people.

Revelation 6 v 9 – 11
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

People say that the rapture is nothing but escaping trouble, guess what – YOU ARE RIGHT!!!

Luke 21 v 36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Nahum 1 v 2
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

The rapture is a reward for: –
 Faithfulness in your Christian faith.
 Did go to church without excuses.
 Who did give their tithes & offerings?
 Who did witness to their neighbours?
 Who did the things Jesus said?

Because you did everything Jesus said, your reward is the rapture.
If you are away from the Lord, I beg you, I implore you, turn your heart back to God.

You have been misunderstood, misinterpreted, misrepresented and your heart has hardened, church folk have hurt you. Don’t let it get you and miss the rapture.

No one can stand before God for your judgement, you have no excuse.
